The goal is to work in tandem to build community and community health through healthy eating and making sure everyone in our community has access to healthy food. 

The Veggie Rx Program and the 'Pay-What's-Right-For-You' are unique to the South Dakota. 

At Budding Moon Farm,  a USDA certified organic operation, we work to grow the healthiest food possible while taking care of our little slice of the environment.

The goal of Budding Moon Farm is to create a model of agriculture that provides equitable access to the highest quality food for everyone in our community. With the Veggie Rx program (for households on medicaid or receiving SNAP) and a 'pay-what's-right-for-you' (sliding scale) plan where people pay anywhere from 25% the cost of a share up to paying full price and buying a share for a family in need.
